CAP/Sony Pictures Media Arts Program The Sony Pictures Media Arts Program brings together the latest technologies from Sony Pictures Entertainment with top arts professionals from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) School of Film/Video and the Community Arts Partnership (CAP), to offer students in the City of Los Angeles a unique opportunity to pursue their artistic dreams. With FREE classes in drawing, design, color approaches, animation and media techology as well as the use of Sony's high tech computers and video equipment, the 30-week program per year is a chance for talented and creative individuals ages 10-14 years to learn the ins-and-outs of the world of image making. Join local Eagle Rock instructor Mary Frances Spencer for a wake-up energizing Yoga practice in the beautiful Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock gallery that includes breath-work and traditional Hatha Yoga Asanas sequenced to warm you up, release toxins, build strength and flexibility, as well as stretch tight muscles and let go of tension anxiety. She always includes Aromatherapy and Vibrational Tuning Forks in the relaxing finish of each class. Take some time this Autumn to move forward into better health and peaceful well being!
